2010 Exhibits

Train enthusiasts will be delighted to hear that the National Railway Historical Society will be loaning the festival several train cars to display throughout the weekend. An engine, baggage car and caboose will be on display along the tracks adjacent to the depot for festival-goers to board. No excursions will be offered.

Enthusiasts will also enjoy the hand-carved wooden train exhibit from Fred Reburn set-up inside the Depot building.

Volunteers from the Norfolk & Western Historical Society and the Museum of the Confederacy will be on hand with displays, exhibits, and other railroad related memorabilia.

Park Rangers from the High Bridge Trail State Park, Sailors Creek Battlefield State Park and the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park will be showcasing their parks and connections with the railroad.
